Battle Through the Heavens Season 5 has finally aired, and I wanted to open up a discussion about it!
This season brings a major step forward in Xiao Yan’s journey, especially after the events of Season 4 and the 3-Year Agreement. The animation quality has definitely improved, and the fight scenes—especially between Xiao Yan and Yun Shan—were intense and well-choreographed.
What I really enjoyed:

The deeper focus on character development, especially Xiao Yan’s growth and his increasing leadership abilities.

The emotional weight of Xiao Yan’s return to Jia Ma Empire.

Medusa’s appearance and her interactions with Xiao Yan.
However, I felt like some parts were rushed. Certain plot points could have been explored more, especially the internal struggle within the Misty Cloud Sect.
